The area is ideal if you are looking for tranquility. Within 20 minutes' drive, there is the village Elos, where you will find restaurants, mini market, pharmacy and 2-3 souvenir shops. Within 15 minutes' drive, there is Livadia that has a wonderful, pebbly beach. The area is a hub for those who want to visit the beaches of Sfinari and Elafonissi, which are 20 and 30 minutes' drive, respectively. In the small town of Kissamos, which is about 50 minutes' drive, there are banks, supermarkets, medical center, restaurants and anything else you need for your daily living. The airport of Chania is about 1 hour and 40 minutes' drive.
