The house is located in the village Fournes of the municipal unit Mousouroi, in the municipality of Platanias, southwest of Chania city. It is an old stone-built residence, part of which has been restored. It needs some repairs and you can make several improvements but it is structurally in perfect condition and can become habitable with very little money.

You can easily change it, if you construct a new door that will connect the repaired part with the old section. The property has radiators but you have to install a boiler room.

The property is an excellent investment if you are looking for an inexpensive, large home near the city, where you can stay directly and repair it gradually. The roof and the walls are in good condition. The required repairs are few and therefore you can make them gradually.

The village is on the way to the plateau of Omalos and to the botanical park of Crete, which is less than 10 minutes' drive away. Within 5 minutes there is the small town of Alikianos, where there are schools, a supermarket, a bank and several shops and services. The city and the airport of Chania are about 25 and 30 minutes' drive, respectively.
