The property is in the village Sternes of the municipality Chania, about 3 km from the seaside Marathi and 20 minutes east from the city center of Chania. It is part of an abandoned old Ottoman "Metochi", which is protected by the regulations of the Greek Archaeological Service but you may use it as you wish, with respect to the architecture style and the original character of the building. The "Metochia" during the Ottoman era were small villages, from where the feudal lords and their families were managing their estates.
