The view of the White Mountains to the South and the Aegean sea to the North, is truly breathtaking.

The area has many restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, bank, post office, schools and other shops. The beach is vast and the sea is clean and safe for swimming, the promenade is ideal for walking and cycling. The distance from Chania is approximately a 20 minutes drive, the Port of Souda and the airport is 25 and 40 minutes drive, respectively.
