The roof has insulation so the house is cool during summer and warm during winter. The balconies have pergola with tiles. Outside the main house is a covered garage and there is also space in the yard for another car. In the courtyard, on the one side is a garden that is covered with bougainvillea, which is cool even during the hot summer days. From the other side of the yard we go by stairs to the pool area. There, is located a guest area that consists of an open plan space with living room and a bathroom. The pool has a paved area with enough space for a BBQ and sun loungers. There are also steps that lead to the garden, which has olive, lemon, apricot, fig trees and space to plant more trees.

The house is comfortable enough to be used as a permanent residence but you can also use it for tourism purposes. The village has a mini market and cafe. Its inhabitants are hospitable and friendly. It has areas for walking and cycling. In just ten minutes’ drive is Rethymno, which has many archaeological sites, gorges and beautiful beaches, suitable for every visitor. The airport of Chania is about 1.5 hours' drive and the airport of Heraklion about 45 minutes.
