The rear garden is terraced into the hillside with mature olive trees, orange, lemon, magnolia, pomegranate, walnut and fig trees.

The center of the town of Kissamos, which is about 2 km away, features supermarkets, many shops, cafes, taverns and a long beach. To the east is Chania with its picturesque harbour, which has a large range of taverns, tourist shops and a bustling local community. The city of Chania and the airport are about 40 and 55 minutes, respectively. The area is ideal for easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches of western Crete, such as Falasarna, Elafonisi, the area of Paleochora and Balos.
