In a short distance, there are several beaches such as Kolymbari, Nopigia and Afrata, which are all within 5 to 10 minutes’ drive. The area is ideal for holidays as it is located between the city of Chania that is about 30 minutes away and the famous beaches of Kissamos such as Balos, Elafonissi and Falasarna. The area has many picturesque villages and historical sites while within 5-10 km you will find many restaurants with excellent local food.
