At a distance of approximately 10 minutes' drive is the small town of Vamos, where there are bank, supermarket and other shops. Within about 20 minutes' drive you can find the beaches of Georgioupolis and Kalyves, which have facilities. The city and the airport of Chania are about 40 and 50 minutes' drive, respectively.
