SEA VIEWS IN A BIG VILLAGE WITH AMENITIES

The property is in a picturesque village of the municipality of Apokoronas, on the eastern edge of the prefecture and very close to the lake of Kournas. It is a plot with a good rectangular shape and average dimensions of 31 m along the frontage * 47 m. The frontage is on an asphalt road at the highest level while then there is a high slope of about 5 m, which allows you to construct underground spaces as well as raise any construction in the future in order to have impressive views up to the sea. The rest and larger part of the plot has a gentle northwest slope and there are mature olive trees. The area and the building ratio of the plot allow you to build a large detached house with views, a garden or even a swimming pool. Alternatively, you can build a small residential complex for use or resale as the area has consistently high residential and tourist interest.

The village has about 500 permanent residents and is one of the "liveliest" in the area, with an active cultural club, a well-stocked mini market and two or three traditional taverns that are open all year round. The center of Chania city is about 50 minutes' drive away while the center of Rethymnon is much closer and you can go there in about 20-25 minutes. The village is about 10 minutes south of the long beach of Kavros, one of the largest on the island with countless areas with facilities or quieter places.
