SINGLE-LEVEL VILLAGE HOUSE ON A SPACIOUS PLOT

The property is located in the picturesque village Tzitzifes of Apokoronas southeast from Chania city. It is an old stone farmhouse, which needs repair but can become a beautiful house. The building is located on the frontage of the plot while at the back there is plenty of space, which is not landscaped and has olive trees. Here, you can add a swimming pool, a beautiful garden or anything else according to your needs. There is also a remaining buildable area that allows you to expand the house or to add one or even more extra detached units of up to 240 m² in total.

The interior of the house follows the slope of the ground with stairs that create separate levels. The main space is quite large with a loft and allows you to place there the kitchen and the living room with even a bedroom upstairs or an office space. There is another bedroom area as well as the old kitchen that can accommodate another bedroom. The old bathroom is located in a separate area in the yard and can be used as a storehouse or a boiler room and you may construct as many bathrooms as you want inside.

Natura 2000 Zoning for Property Buyers

In Natura 2000 areas, which are designated for environmental protection, property buyers can purchase land with certain zoning restrictions in place to preserve local ecosystems. While development is allowed, there are specific regulations regarding construction and land use to ensure minimal impact on the natural habitat. These areas offer a balance between development opportunities and environmental conservation.
