LARGE HOUSE WITH A SPACIOUS BASEMENT
The property is on a large plot in a village, just outside the beautiful small town of Vamos of the municipality Apokoronas. It is a luxurious detached house, which is arranged over three levels and includes living areas of 195 m² and a large additional underground utility space of 209 m². The building has a permit of 2000 and was completed in 2006.
The residence gives the feeling that it is secluded in nature, even though on the adjacent plots, residences have been built that create a welcoming and beautiful neighborhood. The plot is fenced with a high wall along its frontage, which in combination with the dense vegetation around the house, offers excellent privacy. An external staircase leads to the first floor, where there is a large balcony with railings of Iroko wood and views that extend to the sea in the background. Upstairs, we find an independent kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms and a central bathroom. The first floor can be connected with the ground floor in a large detached house or it may be used as it currently is, for hosting friends or for touristic purposes.
It is a residence with high standards and many quality features. All the walls and ceilings are thermally insulated while all the ceilings inside the two upper floors are covered with melamine planks that are easy to clean and don't require painting. The basement can be used for multiple purposes. It is currently used as a storage space and a gym while its entire north side that faces towards the pool is at ground level and can accommodate one or more apartments. The residence has three-phase electricity with residential night tariff, alarm system, underfloor system with cooling/heating pump, backup electricity generator, backup water tanks as well as aluminum doors and windows with screens and double glazing. There are also a landline for telephone/internet and a satellite antenna. All electrical appliances and almost all existing furniture are included in the sale price.
The nearby Vamos is one of the most beautiful small towns of Apokoronas and has a picturesque square with traditional taverns, cafes as well as a supermarket, pharmacy, medical center, bank, schools of all levels and more. The area is an ideal starting point to visit many of the beautiful villages of the region. In the small ports of Kalyves and Georgioupolis, which are about 15 minutes' drive from the property, you will find many shops and services, great sandy beaches as well as many restaurants along the coast.
