The apartment is in a seaside complex with 24 apartments, just a few steps from a long pebbly beach. Within walking distance, you will find everything you need for your daily living as the area has a large supermarket, pharmacy, bakery as well as regular public transport to Chania or Kissamos, all year round. In the center of Platanias, which is less than 10 minutes' drive, you will find a bank, post office and several shops. The city and the airport of Chania are about 25 and 40 minutes' drive, respectively.
