Georgioupolis has a long, sandy beach with crystal clear waters while the beaches of Kalyves and Almyrida are about 15 km away. Chania is only 35 minutes' drive, Chania Airport and the port of Souda are about 25 minutes and Heraklion Airport about 1.5 hours.
