Beaches of Crete

With approximately 1,000 km of coastline and literally hundreds of small coves or large pristine beautiful beaches, the Island of Crete is able to offer beach lovers unforgettable memories and unique experiences. In Crete you can find everything and anything, whether that includes sunbathing alone on a beautiful secluded beach or partying until dawn in a lively beach bar. Whatever it is you require, you will find yourself with a variety of options and you will never get bored.

We would advise you to explore 'the unknown Crete', off the beaten track, as this is the easiest way to discover the wild beauty of this fascinating island. If you go for a swim to Matala, then save some time for a quick dive at the nearby beach of Red Sands. Or, while visiting Elafonisi, head east to a stunning cedar forest and swim into one of its beautiful coves. Follow the signs to villages you have never heard of and you will be amazed by the unspoilt beauty and the hospitality of the people. If you want to get the most out of Crete, there is only one way to do so: explore, enjoy, dance, dive, relax, be adventurous.
